We are subject to the judgment of those around us all the time. The judgment is pervasive, affecting our thoughts and action imperceptibly yet constantly. We are afraid to deviate from the standard, the one person or thing that is exalted by the media. We are afraid that we won’t blend in, and that the judgments would be on us, and trials like this are unending.
