The Ruler
The Ruler is a system that provides users with classic designs by collecting, summarizing, and absorbing them, helping users to deeply study and feel these classic designs, and use them to recreate.
At this stage, The Ruler uses some traditional Chinese jewelry designs and paintings as the database to provide inspiration for users.
The Ruler has been released in two versions: 1.0 and 2.0. The Ruler 1.0 is divided into two editions, the first edition is to generate the first model ruler by citing the design of the gold head face inlaid with gemstones in the Ming Dynasty of traditional Chinese jewelry. The second edition adds the design principles of typical jade wares collected by the Shanxi Museum (mainly Zhao Qing’s tomb) and the classic design patterns of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period as a new material library on the basis of the original. This version was tried out at the Shanxi Museum in China to collect feedback and make the latest changes.

Create a Material Library
All traditional Chinese jewelry that enters the material library needs to be summarized multiple times and classified according to different properties and functions, such as decorative parts, wearing parts, etc.
The video on the left only shows sketches of some of the generalized and categorized traditional jewelry, shown in whole and disassembled form.
Welcome to The Ruler 2.0
Ruler 2.0 develops an online platform based on Ruler 1.0 and builds a 3-Dimensional model material library.
Ruler 2.0 uses Butterflies Chasing Flowers, a very popular theme in traditional Chinese jewelry, as its material library. The theme originally meant love and relationships between people, but it can also refer to different things today.
